Yesterday I found out some really difficult news to swallow. A guy from Altona, which I was certainly acquaintences with, killed himself yesterday morning. I'm having the hardest time taking this in. It's not like I was good friends with him or anything like that at all...but I've certainly spent time with him and other people, and I've talked

hey sweety i haven't kept up with LJ for a while so when i read your lastest post my heart lept! i had to go back and find this entry to know what was going on! that is soo terrible when you lose a friend like this. It doesn't really take away from feeling the pain and heatbreak if you weren't super close i would be a total wreck if someone i knew and was friends even just in the smallest way died. I'm thinking of you and i hope you are ok and everyone else in alonta gets through this.

Did we have the chance to meet Jeremy at all? ( i know that may not be the right thing to ask but it will bother me and i would just like to know)

Hey Roxanne, thanks for the post...it was really sweet. It's been crazy how much this has affected eeeeeveryone in town. It's all anyone can talk about, and every single person you talk to about it seems to have done some kind of mourning on their own. A real tragedy.
No, you guys never met Jer. He was a couple years older than us (21). He was best friends with Lisa and Sarah's older brother and my friend Jodi's boyfriend...not sure if you ever met them or not.
