I got into the Railway Conductor program at BCIT today! Yay! And I got the call while I was making Spinach Gnocchi from
Vegan with a Vengeance, so I'm celebrating with deliciousness. I just need to invent a new marinara recipe, my old one is still delicious, but I'm out of crushed tomatoes. I learnt how to make my original recipe from the Godfather, except I use crushed tomatoes instead diced and no wine, because I'm cheap. Otherwise, that's my secret recipe, and it also helps if you recite Clemenza's lines to an invisible Michael and then start singing faux italian. I would totally watch Clemenza's cooking, relationship advice, and gun handling show (move aside Oprah). I would also watch a Godfather rendition of Hell's Kitchen, where Sonny is Gordon Ramsay and everyone ends up dead in the end because somebody insulted his mother/sister/wife/mistress/daughter/anythingwithbreasts....This post was supposed to be about trains.
Completely unrelated note: If you are looking for a good and cheap punk compilation CD, I recommend
Punch Drunk for $4.50 at interpunk with 20 songs. I got mine in the mail today and it is a great way to pass the hours of gnocchi cooking.
