Since I now have the rest of the summer off I've signed up myself for two first aid courses next week so I can qualify for being a student guide in France next summer at the Vimy Memorial or the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial. I'm so excited because I'm going to get paid to yak on and on about History and the people will have to listen to me! Muwhahaha! (I'm not over the evil cackling yet) Plus the pay is good, about 12 bucks an hour plus a daily $25 living allowance (my current living allowance is $40 a week) with all your basic expenses paid (rent, laundry, internet, hydro, etc...). So I'm really pumped for this, and it gives me a great short term goal instead of dreaming about things that might happen in four-six years.

See my brother could fly the planes and I'll put the fire out afterwards, plus I can scare away birdies. If I ever actually worked at an airport it would be a dream come true for my dad to have two of his kids working around planes, giving him a great excuse to hang around the airport when he isn't going anywhere.
