The author Terry Pratchett - whose novels have sold millions of copies worldwide - has been made a knight in the New Year Honours list.

The Neal Stephenson appearance at the Boulder Book Store last night was a good time. The whole ticket system for getting books signed surprised me a bit. A podcast of Neil Gaiman's highly entertaining appearance at the Tattered Cover in Denver is now available. I hope they will post a recording of Terry Pratchett's reading there at some point.

Just finished reading the Illustrated Script for the movie Mirrormask. It looks like it will be very, very good. I suppose I am a bit biased in that Dave McKean is my most favorite artist ever and I really want to watch his creations come to life in a movie. Also, Neil Gaiman (the writer) is coming to town to promote his new book. Yay!
