Hi everyone, I've lived in Japan for 5 years but after spending several months out of Japan I decided that it's time for me to leave. Since I originally planned on returning to Japan I kept my apartment and all my stuff in Japan so I have to return in september and take about a month to move everything and close things. Has anyone attempted to get a police clearance from Japan from OUTSIDE Japan? I need to get one and don't live in a city with a consulate here in Canada.

Ideas? Timeframe? Help?
