オオトビサシガメ Isyndus obscurus (Dallas)

The link above shows a picture of the bug in question but everything I've found indicates they're biters and quite painful ones at that. Does anyone else have this problem and know of any deterrents for them deciding your apartment is their apartment? I don't mind the stink bugs but this is just crazy. I've killed 4 of them in the past 2 days and I never had any of them last year or the year before.
They seem to be in the kitchen area. The window is shut and locked and I don't know of any holes they can get in through. My guess is that they're attracted to the stink bugs, who are probably attracted to the smell of my trash. I've made sure everything is sealed off as best as possible but those huge bugs freak me out!
