Welcome! Canadian expat living in Sydney, here. I came to Australia in 2000 to work on a 9-month contract, and six years later I'm still here, with an Aussie husband and no plans to leave :-)

From everywhere ;-) Born in Fredericton, then spent a few years in each of Montreal, Toronto, Sudbury, and Calgary.

Ahhh, military brat? :) My mom and dad are both from the Maritimes (Saint John and Sydney, respectively) and we got transfered around alot too, although I was so young that I really grew up in Ottawa.

I'm a teacher. What do you do?

Actually, no - my dad just happened to have a job with a company that had offices across the country, and every time he got a promotion they sent us to a new province further west ;-)

I'm an audiologist at an acoustics research laboratory.
