Reverse Culture Shock
Ha, on the subject of wanting to go home,not wanting to go home i have a question for expats whose contracts are almost up.
How do you feel about going home?? I am happy /sad at the same time. I want to be with my family, friends, MY FIANCE...I want to go back to school, get ready for my wedding next year. But i have this ANXIETY about going back.
I know reverse culture shock will hit me hard. How do I deal with it? I know my friends wont be able to relate to me as my expat friends here have. My friends at home take everythign the wrong way when I tell them about how I cope with things here, (china) they think it's always bad and I am always hating it and it's not true...anyway it's hard to put this anxiety into words I just want to know how you all are feeling, who will be going home in the next few months....
I have 55 days left to try to enjoy everything I can!
