Question..
Are there any lists for converting US cooking measurements (e.g: cup, teaspoon, tablespoon, etc..) to a European or German standard? I'm trying to convert an American cookie recipe to something I can make here, but I can't just add one cup of this or two teaspoons of that without something to measure it with (because I have never made these cookies before.)
When I search on Google, it doesn't return anything usefull.. I found a page that lists the British equivalent for other terms (such as "Corn meal" as "Maize"), but it doesn't convert the measurements.
I also don't even know what the German or European equivalent to 'a cup' is.. I am really uneducated in this area..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
