you know nothing, jon snow.
i want to talk about game of thrones so let's do that. mostly i'm rambling about how well characters/scenes made it from page to screen.
JON SNOW: is my boo. kit is flawless. his face! ugh. i'd like to see more of ghost tho!
ARYA: also perfect. the arya/jon/needle scene was love. also all arya/nymeria. ♥ :(
DANY: heart! i hate the changes from the book to her wedding night (the sex was consensual in the book, for one thing), but mostly i think she's being written well, and emilia is rocking it. also: she's so pretty! *___*
NED: of all the characters from the books, ned is the most how i imagined him...but that could be because i knew sean bean was playing him when i was reading. either way, i like that they've lightened him up a tiny bit from the books (if you can believe that). the scene with lady was just awful/perfect. ;___; and the way he delivered the line "is this your command...your grace?" made me want to throw my fist in the air or something.
other actors/casting i especially like so far: cat, robert, jaime, jorah. oh, and harry lloyd is killing it as viserys.
i adore tyrion and peter dinklage, but his accent is bothering me. i read that it evens out a little further into the season. i hope so!
speaking of accents: richard madden (robb), what are you doing? your scottish is showing, bb. it was really obvious when robb & jon were saying their goodbyes. (which: *tears*)
i hate joffrey the character and i hate the actor. he's the only one i think is just awful.
i really like what little we've seen of the hound so far but i'm reserving judgement until he gets to do a little more. he's possibly my favorite character in the books so i hope so hard they get him right!
excited for: varys, renly, barristan the bold, and the knight of flowers to show up. oh and littlefinger! omg and sam!
uh. that's it for now. also, i don't want to spoil, but for people who've read the books, isn't the show just full of TROLOLOLOL? knowing about future things makes me cringe at current things all. the. time. /o\
