so happy together.
i rarely am terribly interested in the girls on idol and this year is no exception, sigh. i was playing scrabble with scott during most of the show so i was only half-watching...which was probably the smart way to do it. :P here are some quick thoughts anyway.
ramiele was the only one i legitimately liked. she's pretty and adorable and i thought she did a really good job. plus, dusty springfield songs are ALWAYS ftw.
i love amanda's personality and i think she can sing, but tonight didn't work for me.
despite everything, i really want to like carly, yet i never enjoy her. i thought she sucked tonight and was so boring. mostly i kept wishing she'd get a better haircut.
kady, alaina and kkkristy lee all seem like the same chick to me, and i do not care about any of them.
i like brooke despite myself, but i found her super awkward during the performance. and i felt bad for her after; i feel like simon was just being his "oooh i hate happiness" self and she didn't know how to take it or something, idk.
i don't hate syesha, a-lush or asia'h - none of them are really that interesting to me but they were all ok. i liked syesha the most of the three. i hate when people smile through "piece of my heart" btw. it made me crazy when carrie underwood did it and it annoyed me on asia'h as well. luckily, i was mostly just listening and not watching.
amy is absolutely beautiful and i'd totally hit that. as long as she didn't sing, because damn, that was painful.
and i can't remember who's left. oh! i don't like joanne's voice much. it's not bad, but her tone just is...not pleasing to my ears.
