I have a new desk finally. A bargain at 59.99 at Target. It's pretty sturdy too despite being MDF and laminate. I'm still a little worried about going over the edge with buying too many material possestions, but I guess I'll just have to watch it

My day has been a waste. I did score a pair of tickets for a live production of Beauty and the Beast tonight, so that's exciting. Right now I'm trying to figure out how about one year's worth of pictures disappeared from my computer. I'm thinking/hoping I have them backed up somewhere.

Hmmm. I don't know that I ever bought furniture from Target, but I do love to assemble things!

Normally I'll dumpster dive or shop goodwill to find something that just needs a good sand and refinish. But this was like, a desk emergency...

Three words: external hard drive. They're not just for porn addicts.

Freecycle and cheapcycle are pretty good resources, too!

What's sad is that we have an external hard drive!

I can't immagine many rednecks around here would be into freecyling, though there are some hipsters downtown. Mostly when I search on craigslist for goods it's someone trying to sell a 1980's plaid couch for 500 bucks to support their oxycotyn, beer, or gambling habit. It's like, "um I can get something new sans beer stains and cigarette burns for that price at Value City..."
