(no subject)
I have a new desk finally. A bargain at 59.99 at Target. It's pretty sturdy too despite being MDF and laminate. I'm still a little worried about going over the edge with buying too many material possestions, but I guess I'll just have to watch it.
Today was very productive, despite having had no sleep the evening before. I did the usual humdrum things that I tend to put off, citing lack of time or money as the usual excuses. I hit the post office. Had the car washed and picked up the dry cleaning. Then it was off to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and an air filter. My car is running much happier now. Then it was off to Target for some restained shopping. After that it was on to Mom's winery/house to pick up some laundry and mooch some lunch. Then back home to assemble my new desk. I have it under the window now and as I type this I can look out and see trees and grass and birds. It's a much better experience.
So that's pretty much it for now. How're ya'll?
