Grace for the Moment-Max Lucado

We worry. We worry about the IRS and the SAT and the FBI. We worry that we won't have enough money and when we have money we worry that we won't manange it well. Honestly, now. Would he teach you to walk just to watch you fall? Would he be nailed to the cross for your sins and then disregard your prayers? Come On. Is scripture teasing us when it reads, "He has put his angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go" (Psalm 91:11)?

I don't think so either -Max Lucado

My personal interpretation- God is always at work through mysteriously subtle ways....I believe if you live through and keep the faith in knowing we are not alone and avoid getting too caught up in the midst of a frenzy; his ways won't be so easily over looked or missed, instead it will become the highlight and inspiration of your day. ~MzExoticIntegrity!

How much time do we waste feeling guilty or angry over the past or worrying about the future? Each moment as it comes can slip away from us when us when we are lost in such anxious thoughts. To Be Here Now means to focus fully on each moment as it occurs. The past is gone and the future is but a dream. This very moment, right here and now, is where we have to live our lives. We can help ourselves concentrate on the present moment. Activities that engage us fully and keep our minds focused make it hard to dwell on our imagined worries. We can play basketball, plan a garden, or paint a room. We can clean our closets and give the things we no longer use to a charity organization. We can refinish a table, reupholster a chair, or take an exercise class. We can Be Here Now. "I now focus fully on each present moment as it occurs."
