Rice Patties!
Monday at 11:45 I will get on a plane to San Deigo. I will sit at an airport bar and have a few (a few too many, that is) drinks while I wait on my six hour layover before I get on another plane to Taiwan. From there to Vietnam, where I will be for almost four weeks!
I am excited for this trip but also a bit nervous. It is my first time going overseas anywhere. We go to Hanoi, Lao Cai, Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Mihn City. I'm not too excited for the plane trip (30 hours total).. but hopefully I will have enough sleeping pills/alcohol/nicotine in me to not make it so-so bad. I'm not too sure if I am going to get jet lag or not because I barely, really get a good nights sleep right now.
So, wish me luck on my journey!!! Have a great start of summer! I know I will. And don't be too jealous..
