oh man... i tried to stay out of that whole ordeal, but i couldn't help myself! but really it was just that girl and her friend who didn't like it. and yeah, threadless people like to post a lot of googled images :p

that comic looks great! so how different does it look now? i do enjoy the colors in this version a lot.

i started writing this reply and then forgot. today my brain isn't so good, hee.

was a valiant effort, but just let them bitch. i don't know how they can really complain; threadless makes...what, like 365+ shirts a year, so one they dislike and oh my god, the evil empire is so overtaking us. big deal! i figured people would complain about the price (oh well, it's not my fault) and the color... but even speaking as objectively as i can, it's not the ugliest thing on earth. and saying that your designs run circles around mine, well, obviously threadless likes you. :) i'm not gonna feel slighted by that (nor do i see how they figured that was gonna pacify you-- you already publicly said you loved it, and we're friends. so, uh? logic train? whooosh). i don't have the time/energy/thought to submit ideas anyway!

thanks for fighting the good fight though-- but i'm just thoroughly amused by it all!

oh and if you click the comics issue link you'll see how the posted version looks-- it's just a bit too big and dark. mostly it's my lettering that suffers as a result. but then, i'm pretty crap with lettering. :)
