ehee. eheehehee. you know when i woke up this morning i was thinking to myself, man i feel odd that nobody's posted that they hated the shirt on threadless. but they did! it's like christmas :D i'm highly amused by the whole affair, though i could do without so many baby heads, i think.
so with this in mind, i'm thinking i should submit the following shirt:
a yeticorn cutting itself while drinking a PBR, while riding a british T-rex that's crying a single tear, surrounded by a cloud of moths; with drippy colors and halftones all over the place. the PBR can has a jetpack, and in the background abe lincoln is playing guitar hero. lincoln has one angel wing and one devil wing. the t-rex has the head of a baby and deer antlers, and there's a heart hanging on one of the horns. oh, and the yeticorn's horn is actually a phonogram horn, that plays a tune that says 'i don't get it.'
i'm pretty certain i'd make millions! except i'm far too lazy. anyone want to fulfill my dream? :D

so nerve posted my comic in their
comics issue; and while it's super cool that they did and all, they resized it upwards and retinted it. i know, i'm real picky about stupid anal things (a surprise to me, believe me!) like color and stuff... but i asked them what size they needed it at, so i could resize accordingly...but at the time they said it didn't matter, so i sent along 500x750 files, figuring they'd be big enough. i had it print quality dpi, so i would've been totally happy to send them the proper file resized to their liking, but i don't know why some people don't talk upfront and let you know that there's a snag. i'll make the extra effort if it means it'll look better as a result...but alas. so the comic seems a little disorienting-- the halftoning got bigger, and everything much more saturated/darker.... and since the posted version kind of hurts my eyes, i thought i'd post my intended version of it.
okay, time to hassle some clients and fill some orders. and write a blog entry for TS! mercy me!
