it feels like almost-autumn, the air is getting cooler and sharper, it's starting to smell like leaves. my favorite time in denver and i'm going to miss it. of course in vermont it will be so much more beautiful than it is here but it won't be denver, it won't be my city, i won't get to walk down columbine on halloween afternoon and watch trashbag
