Oh noes. I've now watched two Harry Potter movies, and I enjoyed them too. :o Not that I ever thought there's anything wrong with them, but I never expected to like them either. I don't usually like all these hyped things like LOTR and whatnot, it's not that I "want to be different" or anything silly like that but that's just how it usually goes.

Also, there was a time when I got so sick of even hearing the words "Harry" and "Potter" that I refused to have anything to do with it. But I do realize that's just silly and wouldn't let the popularity of something prevent me normally, if it wasn't for the fact that it seems way too complicated for me to read the HP books and understand them. So I don't want to read them just because they're supposedly good and popular either, 'cause I normally wouldn't even go to that section in the library. (I don't actually know in which section they are in the library but anyway. :D)

I really don't think it would take much for you to get into them. I mean... people of all ages are able to get into them and understand them. I don't think the plot or any of the characters or anything is really that terribly difficult.
Also, I was the same way with HP at first. I stayed away from it because everyone kept going on about it, but now I regret not getting into it with everyone else. I promise you, it's really not that complicated.
*entices* Hee.

There goes the "I'll never touch the Harry Potter books" principle. Well, it was a sucky principle to begin with so... *kicks it out of the window*
