Unyielding twined Duel
As the waves wash over our sorrows
And the night sky steals our dismay
I feel the tingling of your lips
Press hard against my cheek
The crickets tell stories of our night
The moon holds us tight in its rays
And I feel the moment build
With one soft sweep of your lips
Dishonesty is disheartening
Deception is a trickster
And desperation sets its self in stone
Yet as the foam creeps closer
It pulls with it all the crevices
Of awe stricken mixed emotions
The sand outlines our silhouettes
Imprints our lives deep in its grains
Our hands hold tight as we take in a breath
And release all the past from our souls
The color reenters our joint paths
It dispenses new variations of hues
Reiterating our paths at a new seen light
So as the stars steal our names
And as our bodies fade with time
We continue to stay connected
So as the sky rips our perception
And revives our broken bonds
It mends what was once discarded
And reminds us of our true partnership
So we place the blank sandy beach before us
Allow the waves to expunge our emotions
To creature a new and brighter hereafter
So seal our love in a locket for the future
And hold me as we pass through time
Our desire for each other
Will bind us to one another
And bring forth a newly discovered love
The one that breaks all limits
And is called an unforgettable treasure
