It amazes me how God works sometimes. I have my ideas about what I want to do in life, which often involve me being selfish and settling. I had a structure and a plan, carefully calculated written down in charts and graphs.
And God kind of comes up and says "But I thought you didn't like math"
Why don't you try poetry?
The neat thing about God is that he is writing my peom, stanza by stanza so I can really appreciate each line for its structure, symbolism, and complexity.
So here's what I'm getting at with all my vague hints is this:
I am now working as the Youth Intern at Anona United Methodist in Largo, Florida.
And I couldn't be more exstatic!
This idea I once had of going back to camp has been shaken by something that is very scary and new. I like that God is working in all of this, knowing me better than I know myself. I'd prefer if things were comfortable and God responding, "I know you better than that! You need an challenge!"
I'd want to talk more about it, but I would go on for page after page about how I am excited about this opportunity. But I'll just have to tell you in person!
YAY!!!
