GACKT's LINE Message - October 9, 2012
Good morning. The sun's gonna set soon, so I guess it's good evening.
Since the morning, I've been filming a CM today. Yesterday I was filming a PV all night until dawn.
From dawn to dawn...
In any case, the morning hours [for work] have been really early.
Once again, [the filming] may take all night today until midnight, or perhaps even through tomorrow morning.
And yet, one member of the CM film crew said to me "Please update LINE, I enjoy reading them!!!!"
What can I do....
I figured I'd update then......, and I started writing, or so I thought when I realized the letters sssssssssssssssssssssssssss spreading across the screen....
I'd powered down [without realizing it myself]....
Nothing new there.
I can't say what kind of CM I'm filming today yet,
but the content of the CM is like a fantasy.
It's something you dream about if you're a guy.
By the way,
I remembered someone in my band saying this in the past.
"I don't care if it's just once,
I want to drive a foreign convertible
with a beautiful woman sitting next to me
and wait for the signal to turn green
right in the middle of the intersection in Shibuya..."
Ahahahaha.
What kind of dream is that?? I said to him.
But apparently it was a serious dream of his.
Well, to each their own.
People have all kinds of dreams.
At that time, I said to him half-jokingly,
"Well, do you want me to make your dream come true then?"
Then he said
"Seriously?? When????"
with desperation.
If I can make him happy with something like that,
I guess I'll make that his birthday present.
When I was in my teens,
I was a child with an extremely weak body.
Once I got sick, I was even forbidden to participate in lengthy physical activities.
To be honest, I didn't even have a decent dream.
All my childhood, I simply wished that my body would get healthy.
In my 20s, I started fixing my own body,
and I was beginning to regain stamina bit by bit.
That's when I started being able to have my own dreams,
and I've been working so hard to realize those dreams ever since.
Of course, there are many dreams I made come true.
There are also many that I'm still working on.
What I can say for sure is this.
If you're relying on someone else from the beginning, you can't make that dream come true.
But you shouldn't forget that you cannot make your dream come true all by yourself, either.
Oftentimes, the forces and cooperation of many people become the final push you need toward making a dream come true.
When I was younger, I used to think I could do everything all on my own.
But that isn't the reality.
If you forget to be grateful, you end up letting your dreams run away from you, instead of realizing them.
I'm supported by so many people....
I think this very often lately.
So much gratitude.
Without forgetting to have gratitude, I keep realizing my dreams.
I will keep on going....
When you write like this, it sounds pervy.... [That 'going' can also mean 'to climax' in Japanese.]
In any case, dreams are something you have to have until the day you die.
I believe that "dreams are the driving forces that move people."
Well, I guess I'll go back to the set now.
