GACKT's LINE Message - September 17, 2012

Sep 17, 2012 02:26

Morning.
It was a long day yesterday.
I was making music since the morning, and then headed straight to the filming for the drama, Akumu-chan.
Although, the filming was just for a single scene that didn't get filmed earlier.
At the filming site, in the middle of having my makeup on, I kept singing out loud because my music making wasn't going so well. Apparently, everybody outside could hear me.
Very embarrassing... But thanks to that, the melody and lyrics are coming along nicely now.
This song is written from the perspective of a woman, which I hadn't done in a while. The song squeezes my heart, and that's not a bad feeling.
The scene got set up, so I entered the filming site, only to be welcomed by an unbelievable number of mosquitoes.
I'm allergic to mosquitos, so this was as excruciating as being inside a bees' nest.
Once bitten, my skin swells up so much it's inconceivable, and it then gets out of control after that.
But the staff kept filming in this condition since the morning.
Everybody's really working hard.
In order not to delay the filming, I behaved like a good boy and waited for the scene to be set up while showering myself with a bug repellent.
Soon enough, my scene was finished without a hitch.
Kitagawa Keiko-chan told me her skin also swells up right away when bitten by mosquitos.
But she didn't complain a bit, and kept doing her job, one by one, while keeping a smile on her face. I can't help but praise her, thinking "She's incredible."
This film crew has a very good atmosphere.
They maintain a healthy level of tension, but they also have this gentle and warm feel.
It's a fortunate thing to be able to produce a drama with a team like ths.
It's psychologically quite taxing to be part of long-term filming in a frictious environment.
Different situations don't affect me much, but even I get really stressed out by that, so I bet actors who are sensitive to things like this might even feel nauseated in a poor filming environment.
From the bottom of my heart, I feel happy to be able to work with this crew.

Oh, yeah. Something funny happened during the filming two nights ago.
Filming at a park in Tokyo late at night. Naturally, many people passed us by.
So, we had to stop filming many times.
If there was someone feeling good and started shouting, we just had to wait patiently until they stopped.
There indeed was someone who kept shouting really loud that night.
One of the staff members came running to me.
"We're sorry, it looks like they're feeling really good... We'll have to wait for a while."
Stuff like this happens often, but we kept waiting and waiting and couldn't restart the filming.
The staff went over to the person shouting loud on the street to ask them if they could be quiet.
Then, this staff member came back running.
"I'm sorry, it looks like nobody can talk to that person that's feeling good."
With a doubtful look, I said
"How come?? You want me to go talk to them??"
"No, ummm........, it's apparently "Akko-san"......"

Ahahahahahahaha.
Waiting for Akko-san [to be quiet] so we can restart filming the drama...
Awesomely formidable Wada Akiko. That's our Akko-san.
I love it, the way she seems to be enjoying her life.
I want to have a drink with her sometime.... No, I take that back.
I'm still too green for Akko-san.

Many things are happening everyday.
I'm writing about these details, as well as the way I think or view things and Q&A, in the blog magazine "GACKT Channel" I recently started. Please give it a read if interested.

Well, the reason why I updated LINE today is because one of the staff members said to me "Please udate LINE."
I feel a little caught off guard, shame on me...

So, I'm concluding today's report from the filming site with the best smile of this staff member who looks like Matsuken (Matsuyama Ken'ichi).
Ahahahaha...

Today's GACKT, 60 points. Not enough sleep.

LJ's being a real biatch and won't let me paste the photo. orz  It's a picture of this staff member that looks like Matsuken. Maybe tomorrow... =__=
BTW, this Akko-san encounter made me LOL. OMGosh, how Akko-esque!! ROFLMHO
If you watch a decent amount of Japanese TV, you've probably seen her. She's DA BAWSS (feared by everyone... X'D).
