this is another one of those RL things you probably won't care about but which i just had to share, although i know many people that read this love the pirates of the caribbean trilogy, so maybe i'm not entirely correct about the low interest factor. hal is in it, as is andy's friend adam, and the dramatic kid taking off his glasses in the car is joe, who spent many evenings in our basement last year while he and dan were building models for dan's senior thesis film.

also there's a lot of flailing involved.
