Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Arthur is 6'0" and build like a soccer player. He's broad shouldered, and he's definitely got a lot of obvious muscle, but for the most part he's not very bulky and doesn't exactly look like a body builder. He's also pretty lean, he seems to be self concious about his weight and he trains on a daily basis, so.

2. How old is he?
Canonly Arthur is 21, though in Para he's 23, by product of arriving a few months before his birthday.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He carries himself very well, with his back straight and shoulders squared, basically perfect posture. He definitely holds himself with a very noble air, and with his chin raised.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
His health is pretty good, he doesn't really seem to get sick, and any injuries of his have healed without incident. Definitely fit!

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
The last three? Arthur's pretty graceful, and fights very fluidly, even if he definitely has a very direct approach to fighting, and doesn't care to show off outside of a tournament. But he's a pretty tense person a good deal of the time, and it definitely shows the more tense he gets. In abrupt or quick movements. He just generally would constantly appear impatient.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? He is a very good looking guy. In his own canon it's even stated that all the girls want him, and the male villain of the ep alludes to doing the same. Arthur's only drawback in this arena is that he's very well aware of how his looks rate. He has a lot of scars, like a lot because he refuses to be magically healed, or in his canon that was never an option, but he doesn't think of them much at all, nor does it occur to him that they might detract from his appearance.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
I wouldn't say Arthur really tanned, but he's definitely not very pale either. Like someone who's just kind of stuck inbetween either complexion. His complexion is definitely clear of all the annoying things other teens have dealt with, but he does have a long thin white scar spanning the bottom of his left forearm in a diagonal arc, which appeared in canon and three claw/teeth marks in that arm's shoulder. In Paradisa he gained thick upraised scars, one horizontally across his stomach, and six smaller vertically on his ribcage. A large burn scar spanning his entire upper back, still pink in colour. Three cross shaped scars, one on the back of his right hand, one on his right shoulder and one on his left thigh.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
He is a dirty blonde! The texture is very smooth, I would guess? And the style tends to be clean cut, but generally kind of sloppy. He runs his hand through his hair a lot when frustrated, and he's outside almost all of he time, so it never just sits perfectly brushed. But it's not sloppy either.

9. What color are his eyes?
Blue!

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
His bubble butt Nope!

11. What are his chief tension centers?
His burns, and the scar across his stomach still really bother him.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Casual and dressy. By his time's standards, at least. He tends to wear really earthy colours, various shades of tans and browns, deep blues, black or grey. The brightest colour that Arthur will wear is a red, but he'll wear white occasionally as well. His pants, vest and jackets all tend to be leather. He's got a red velvet coat with gold/brass adornments that he wears for formal occasions. In Paradisa, he's worn one suit for every formal occasion, because they demand modern dress and he refuses to own more modern clothing than he needs to. He owns one embarrassing t-shirt, a knit sweater he stole from Lavi, and all of his dress shirts have been liberated to Allen's closet by...Allen. He owns a singular pair of jeans and they're hidden in the back.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Yep! His shirts seem a bit loose, so that generally just looks more like personal preference, as his pants and jackets are entirely tailored to fit pretty snuggly. Even if he felt uncomfortable, Arthur always carries himself well, so yes. But he tends to dress pretty practically, so yes he's honestly comfortable.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
On the job he tends to wear armor? But baring that, the only difference between his 'free time' and his 'occupied' time is whether or not he's wearing a coat. In Paradisa, he tends to wear whatever the weather allows [i.e. someone has bullied him into winter gear], and as his only 'job' is really just to train residents who've asked for it, armor is it.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Commando. Those pants are way too tight to have anything underneath hem, for one. For another, underwear wasn't invented until a century after he'd died.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Manly! I wouldn't say it's super deep, and it's definitely not high pitched. This is a show clip, so you can hear.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He generally speaks pretty evenly, his tone is pretty arrogant, or self confident at it's mildness. He hesitates if he's extremely nervous or feeling awkward, which isn't too often. He can get pretty loud when he's irritated, though if he's very angry he switches to a very forced calm and quiet way of speaking.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He has a subtle West Country English accent. The actor is from Devon and uses his natural accent for the role. So while if he was talking to someone from another country, it'd be really noticeable, if he was speaking with someone like Allen or Crowley his accent is a lot less thick and less pronounced than theirs. As for verbal ticks, he very rarely uses contractions, unless he's feeling less formal, and then...That's not always enough for him to use them. He uses horrible in the proper context but also to say stuff like "It's horribly large" which is basically takes the place of something like, 'it's incredibly, or really'. He is incredibly literal and very direct, if he doesn't have to say it, generally he won't. He generally says modern words very slowly, and says telephone like telytone or whatever he feels like calling it that day. If you irritate him, he will drag out your name and emphasize the last syllable. Yeah...

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English! And it's his only language, so he's incredibly fluent. He can also write and read a special code developed by Mana/the 14th for Allen, because he taught it to him. Mostly fluent at this point, but he still struggles with certain things.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope! Unless he's on a loss.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
A little of both. He's pretty good at speaking on the spot, because with his father he generally only as the immediate moment to convince him to...Do whatever Arthur would like for him to, or to rally his knights or townspeople around him. Certain situations that are out of his element and he can't be very heartfelt about? Do take some careful thought.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He's pretty eloquent. Situations this would change are if he's very deeply upset, or something like if someone were hitting on him. You just...Don't do that to him, like ever.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's very intelligent, he basically created and put together a smoke bomb that puts people to sleep, and can break successfully break someone out of jail using...Two other people. He's not very ambitious academically, despite being well educated for someone of his time and while he's street smart in the way that he's aware of things like bandits and such and their way of thinking and operating, and how to deal with them...He's very naive about the world in a lot of ways, or about places that aren't Camelot.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He can think on his feet, but whether or not he does is dependant on the situation, how much time he's given, is he too emotionally attached or not, does it actually require a thought out plan...Etc.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
A bit of all four? Mostly reasoning. And he often ignores his gut unless he's got some form of evidence to back it up, though not always. Since he can be just as stubborn about it and follow it. He's generally practical in day to day life, when he isn't being a spoiled brat, or skivving off his duties to go hunting, but he's pretty idealistic about people and the way the world can become...With a very hard, fatalistic edge to it.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
The best kind! For one of his time frame, as royalty and the only heir he's had the top education. In Paradisa, due to a plot where he had to go to University, he's well versed in Chemistry and BioChemistry, because he had to...Read everything relevant at a high school level before he could do...Anything else, and still obviously couldn't catch up in a week, so when he's bored he tends to continue reading on the subject.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Being a Knight, ruling, etc. Chemistry is the only subject he's taken an interest in learning, but in general Arthur tends to shy away from the modern world, or anything to do with it that isn't ruling structures, because he doesn't need to know it. He's disillusioned with that world, and doesn't think much of it, so why bother?

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Both. Arthur is a very, very private person. He's lived in the spotlight forever, and is well aware that any friend he's had before Merlin was jut someone who wanted to get close to royalty, and thus not actual friends. He tends to spend a lot of his free time hunting, which is often a solo or two person venture, if his father doesn't request he eat with him and Morgana, or there isn't a feast, he'll eat in his room by himself...However, he does like to have a certain amount of human interaction, and by necessity if he stops being an arse long enough, he's pretty good at conversing with someone, and is perfectly able to carry the conversation if he has to. The only time he actually finds it hard to speak to someone, is someone who is fond of only making small talk, because he hates it.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
In a word? Arthur is tsundere as hell. He can be even tempered and even have a sharp sense of humour that comes off as a cheerful mood, though it's usually at someone's expense, these are the times he's most laid back, but he's usually too tense for that. And it really doesn't take very much at all for him to switch from this to being angry, or irritated, hurt or something else. He's very mercurial in regards to temperament.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Pretty well? He tends to react to a person, behaving with a degree of politeness until the person does something to signify what type they are. If someone is polite, generally kind and carries an interesting conversation, he'll behave accordingly. If someone is going to be rude, or call him out on his behaviour immediately without knowing him well enough to make a proper judgement call, he will step up and be...awful, and continue this opinion of you that you're rude until you figure out how to fix it.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act! Certain situations however, he tends to react such as first meetings, or political disputes which take a little more subtlety than he's used to or prefers.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Arthur appreciates jokes that aren't about him, basically. They also can't be modern, lewd or disgusting. They will fly over his head, or he'll find them gross and the person spouting them much the same way. His sense of humour tends to be 'lightly' [ymmv] ribbing people, and teasing them often. His humour at times, can be a bit dark but he will immediately step in if someone has crossed the line into severely awful humour. He does like to play pranks, but usually only if he needs an avenue of harmless revenge.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Nope.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Um, naturally his mother dying as a result of his birth, and finding out the truth about that was a huge moment in his life. His father constantly belittling him, as strived him to be a perfectionist at everything, and with low self esteem in certain areas of life. Meeting Merlin, obviously sets his entire future in motion. Basically, a lot.

14. What does he fear?
Velociraptors. I am not kidding you. After that one attacked him in the woods of Paradisa, and very nearly ate him alive...Yeah. Generally any really large lizard will garner a similar or cautious reaction. In canon, he's admitted to having a healthy dose of fear towards pain, but he's got the ability to compartmentalize it to a certain degree so he can continue fighting to safety, but. He generally doesn't have fear of much.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To get his kingdom to a place where everyone is created equal, and to have it completely safe. To be at least a good King, and he'd like to rest after it. Stupid Avalon D<

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
His lack of real self confidence. Arthur is an intensely honest person, so what you see is what you get, he just makes sure no one sees the whole picture. In certain aspects of his life, he has zero confidence in at all and basically fakes it. For example, he doesn't really believe he can rule well, or successfully keep a city from being seized. When he actually stops thinking about it, these are things he just does inherently very well. But daddy raised him to believe he was a disappointment and routinely says things like 'you aren't fit to do this', and he'd like people to remain unaware of his 'weaknesses'.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
He doesn't have one with his mother. She died directly after she got to hold him, and his father...Pretty much like I said, sort of has a tough love approach to Arthur, bordering on obvious resentment in some cases for the fact this mother died and he very much resembles her. Arthur then found out his father lied about...Everything he's ever told him about magic or the circumstances which caused her death. It is very not pretty.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He [unknowingly at his canonpoint] has a half sister Morgana. They were raised together since they were small children, and they have a slightly antagonistic relationship. They enjoy snarking at each other, and Morgana used to enjoy manipulating him [usually for his own good] into doing certain things. They also had a mutual light attraction for each other, which thankfully fizzled the hell out. Christmas that one year? Never happened.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Apparently they're all dead except for some random Uncle, who has never appeared before season four. I will get back to you in September!

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
In Paradisa, Lavi and Jr. are like his siblings, due to that loss from the castle and getting a whole bunch of false memories shoved into his head. Even though he knows their fake, it's hard not to keep some level of the attachment after. This pretty much goes without verbal acknowledgement for all of them, though it's mutual shown in other ways. He's also starting to have a sibling like bickering with Rapunzel, so we'll see where that goes :)

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Merlin! They met when Merlin first came to Camelot to live with Gaius, and he stopped Arthur from bullying another person in front of a lot of people. Not...Exactly the best start ever. In Paradisa, he's pretty much the closest to Allen whom he met when he first arrived to Paradisa, when Allen was explaining the castle to Merlin. His other closest friend was Misa, who has since went home. He met her when she was spying on him and Allen training, though she lied and said she'd taken a walk and twist her ankle into the clearing they were in. He...Believed her /sob Lavi is above, though he technically fits here as well.

6. Does he have other close friends?
Yep! Ino, and Lana by product of knowing her both times she was here.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Yes and no. Because he's very private and has a tendency not to let people see all of him, he's pretty hard to get very close to. Unless the situation calls for it, he doesn't really say anything personal unless it's to someone he IS close to. If you aren't someone like that, it's something that you would learn just from really observing him or something that's already public knowledge via some other way, that he doesn't really mind people knowing. Otherwise, he's pretty tight lipped. That aside, you also have to contend with his stellar personality, of which is arrogant, stubborn, vaguely rude, etc...But with people he tends to just click with, he doesn't have a lot of trouble.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Both? A lot of his friends ARE like family, and he wouldn't really choose one over the other.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
He's currently dating Allen Walker. He has never been married by his canonpoint.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Yep, he's with Allen Walker as of December 12th, 2010.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Morgana? He then canonly liked Gwen, though he doesn't remember that. He also seems to have been a little in awe all over Lancelot. He's nearly had a crush on Lana, but ended up just getting to know her too well and becoming good friends instead. He then started to fall for Allen, and there hasn't been anyone since.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
He likes people who are kind and compassionate, people who are honest, and people who will stand up to him and argue with him. He doesn't always want to get his own way, and he needs someone who isn't going to be afraid to tell him when he's doing the wrong thing.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Canonly, no. In Paradisa during the May plot, the castle gave him a son with Misa, named Lucius. He was crushed by his loss, and participates in the World Plot largely to find him and get him back. Also, Halloween from another canon is Arthur's daughter with a Guinevere. He's aware of this, and generally treats her accordingly. For his own home? He's generally against forcing a kid into the kind of life he's had, so he'd rather not. If he could ever not be a King? Probably he'd like them.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Crowley, Clark Kent, Jr., Gino Weinberg, Cross Marian, Rhode Kamelot and Tyki Mikk. Most of them are for petty reasons, Clark and the last three were for perceived or are very real threats to him or to others. But not really in general, for being such an arse, most people don't seem to care about him too much.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale? Most people argue it as a 2 or a 5. It's probably closer to 2 or 3.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He's a virgin. He respects any woman far too much to run the risk of pregnancy, and in a time where if a woman was with someone out of wedlock and you could prove it? She'd be tossed out on the street to survive however she could. He's too inherently good of a person to do that and he strongly believes in only being with someone for love.

As for other aspects, it's pretty much not important to him unless it's to get an heir, which his social status dictates he must have. With Allen? That's just not something that he really thinks about. But it's not like he's disgusted by the idea of sex, or that he has trouble with physical affection. He's just...Kind of prudish.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Arthur likes not having to take initiative. He's in control and in charge all the time in every other aspect of life, so he likes being surprised by a kiss and pulled into surprise dates that he didn't plan. He likes his space! While he definitely likes to spend time with his significant other, if he's purposefully moved off to a secluded spot in the house, he prefers to be left alone for at least a few hours, so anyone too smothering would be a turn off. As well as too much public intimacy. He won't hide his relationship, but there are lines, people.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Scorpio, for his birthday of November 15h. As it was chosen, cuz of the date the birthday episode aired. Otherwise N/A. The Chinese calendar doesn't go back far enough, and his actual birthday has never been revealed.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither. The old religion was halted upon his birth, and they are still slowly moving away from it, still holding some pagan traditions and celebrations [just without the magic part]. He is aware of the concept of a God, but believes the after life to be reincarnation. But he doesn't think much of religion or hold these beliefs to high standards.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
He lives by the Knights Code and basically by his own moral compass, in which he believes all men are created equal and strives to be as fair as possible with everything he encounters. He is not above killing in a life or death situation, but if he can avoid it with just incapacitating them, he will. You...Can't compromise it.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Dependant! If your belief is severely harmful to others in some way, like...Human sacrifices, he's going to be pretty much against that and not hide the fact that he is and if he can stop you from doing it, he will. Otherwise? He may think it's weird but ultimately leave you to your own devices.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He only has one, really. His father raised him with the idea that magic and magic users are pure evil, that you can't trust anything they say and merit the highest punishment of death for their crimes of using it. Magic is outlawed in Camelot. Arthur himself, doesn't really reveal any sort of opinion on it, just parrots his father and abides by the law and holds others accountable for breaking it. However, he seems to be more lenient in the punishments he'd like to dole out for it, argues on their behalf on occasion, and goes so far as to break a young boy out of his own dungeon because he hasn't done anything yet, and can't help how he's born. He learning to over come this, slowly, and will tolerate people who use magic, but still won't use it himself or allow it to be used on him.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
At home he is rich, obviously as a Prince. In Paradisa he's...Dirt poor. Arthur won't actually work for money, because it's demeaning, and he won't accept money for training other residents, because it's something he's used to doing and honestly just does it 'cause he likes to. So he relies primarily on the income Allen forced on him for training to get by.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Royalty. His father disowned him and disinherited him for like three hours once and he was absolutely crushed. In Paradisa this seems to account for little to most people, and he's taken to that pretty well. As long as people respect him and are civil, he's kind of relishing the chance to slowly get to be more of himself, and have the freedom of choosing what he does with his time and when, rather than having zero free time and a horde of duties.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
In canon he lives in the castle of Camelot [Pierrefonds in France irl].

In Paradisa he half lives in his castle designated room, which he had Merlin style like his own bedroom back at Camelot as much as was possible, when he first arrived. The other half of the time he lives with Allen and Lavi in the city. The house used to belong to Guts, and they're out there because Allen needs to be due to avoid being incapacitated due to his demon eye, and he needs to be watched for the 14th at night. Also, they'd been living together for these amongst other reasons since April of 2010, and it seemed silly to stop.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Food! I'm only discounting it, because there's no reason that he can't eat home cooked meals, he rather chooses to get take out or take Allen out for dinner on a regular basis. He also is aware that Allen needs more food than the average person, and often spends his money on ensuring there's extra food around for that. That aside, he spends money on practical things. Like weapons, or the necessities. Occasionally a book, if he doesn't feel up to finding it in the library and he knows the bookstore carries it. Also, gifts.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's a Knight as well as a Prince and they're his only professions. He pretty much excels at both of them. He's the best fighter in the entire kingdom, and trains the knights under his immediate employ himself. His people love and respect him, and he's well versed in what they need and what their usually income is and how much they can afford to be taxed, and tends to speak for them and be lenient when possible.

He alright with being a knight, and if he couldn't be a farmer, he'd probably be okay settling for just that. But his biggest dream is to become anonymous, be somewhere no one will know him, to have the freedom that those of lesser birth have. He wouldn't actually want to do the work of running a farm, but if keeping it running and keeping himself fed was his largest concerns? He'd be pretty okay, maybe try and learn a trade. Basically his dream just boils down to getting to have choice and freedom, because he never actually will.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Arthur pretty much spends his free time training a few residents, socializing with idle conversation either in person or over the journals, reading or watching movies or playing video games with his roommates. He also likes horseback riding.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He only skips meals if he feels ill, as he's had a cold or been too injured to want to do anything but sleep a few times. Generally, he eats at least a healthy dose of two meals a day and a snack, but more often than not he has the typical three meals. He eats out more often than he doesn't, but sometimes when someone is around to cook for him, he won't. He only drinks one glass of wine for his lunch and dinner if he's not around Allen Walker, and if he is he sticks to water or apple juice. He doesn't eat meat any longer, and he generally stays away from any modern food that he is unable to identify what's in it. He hates Greek.

Associations
Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite:

1. Color? Red and Gold.
2. Smell? Fresh cut grass, or the smell of everything as soon as the rain stops.
3. Time of day? Dawn.
4. Season? Summer.
5. Book? All Quiet on the Western Front.
6. Music? Classical, his favourite though he won't admit it, is the Nutcracker Suite. If asked, he'd probably go for the more formal sounding, Sonata No. 5 in F Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach. As for modern music that he was introduced to, classic rock. Or if he feels like trolling Allen the music snob, he listens to trashy 80's pop as high as he can play it.
7. Place? Outdoors or the Library.
8. Substance? If you mean drugs, then a red wine. He doesn't do anything else.
9. Plant? Oak trees?
10. Animal? Whatever trumps velociraptor. But, horses.
