Wednesday was SUPPOSED to be Colonoscopy Day, but on Tuesday, which was SUPPOSED to be All Clear Liquids Day, something went horribly wrong - bad reaction to OTC laxatives that were the first part of the prep, one supposes, it's not like any medical professionals had an idea - and I wound up in Washington Adventist hospital for 30 hours or so. You guys. I just picked up my travel notebook and read about the next day, which is the trip from Denver through to Price, Utah. It was the real beginning of what I call the “Big Solo Adventure” part of the trip, and it was an exciting, interesting day with lots of observations.

That is about all I want to say, actually. The doctor called today, which is a very fast turnaround time for the pathology, which is awesome. He said "nothing to worry about," "no cancer in the sample we took," "follow up in two weeks." As an accompanying note to last week's brief health update, I talked to my doctor today. The...discomfort...sensation...thingie is still there but has lessened. It is not always present.
