Come sit by the fire...
Well, it's nearly here - February, which is always the bleah-est month for me. Even I, lover of snow and tolerator of cold, start getting sick of it by February. The days are getting noticeably longer but not yet noticeably warmer, and of course it is a long boring slog before my birthday.
It has recently come to pass that I've spent some pleasant times in bars, which I hadn't done in ages, and I thought, "Well, why not?" So tomorrow night I'll be at the Wharf Rat (the one in Fells Point) around 7-7:30, to try to sit by the fire if it's not too crowded, and have a beer or two. I haven't been up there in ages, so I hope the genial atmosphere is the same. If it's not we can always bag it and go elsewhere. Anyway, if you're feeling like getting out of the house a little, please join me!
