I got a new badge holder thingie at work! The plastic sleeve my badge rides around in was grotty and had a tendency to pick up poppy seeds every Friday. Also it was ripping. So I got a new one of those, and a new zippy-pull thingie to stretch it out to reach the card-readers. I am made much happier by this than is strictly rational.

I really liked last night's Fringe. Lots. I was trying to put my finger on why I liked this and not Heroes or this and not Lost, but that is probably a self-indulgent post for another time.

Or: I need to be attracted to at least one actor on the show whose character is vaguely interesting and isn't acting like a total moron, is why.

I think that Fringe is getting better every week, which I should have also said. There are still things that make me roll my eyes almost every week, and since it comes after House I think sometimes I let it suffer in comparison, but I am consistently enjoying it.

I still haven't seen this week's Heroes, and I can't quite tell from the 2-hour premiere thing how interested I still am.

Yes. I don't care if that IS the only character Josh Jackson can play. I will NOT get tired of the wise cracking smarty with an inferiority complex and a heart of gold. Nope.
