It's like the adult equivalent of a good report card.

Yesterday, a trip to the gastroenterologist. This morning, a trip to the GP.

Blood pressure: 112/70
a1c: 6.9 (borderline, but down .6 from last time so yay!)
Blood sugar: 98

They didn't test cholesterol this time but it was 93 last time so that's likely fine too. Liver function: fine. Sed rate (whatever that is): fine. Several other medical terms: fine.

I asked about the finger I smashed in the door last month that still doesn't quite want to work right in the mornings, and she said it doesn't sound like much to worry about. At some point (possibly sooner rather than later, she said, sounding mildly annoyed) I think I'm going to have to go back to the orthopedist about my left wrist CTS, and if the finger is still bugging me I can ask him about it. And obviously if it gets worse, I'll go see him.

Go back to see 'em both, and another battery of blood tests, in six months. Upcoming: dentist, eye doctor. Then, if I could have a good chunk of the year where I didn't go to any doctor whatsoever? That would rock.

So, yep. Feelin' pretty good today.

health, doctor
