Snow day! Deedle day! Breszny day!
That's a lot of things for one little Wednesday. But yes, it's Officially Snowing, meaning the first day of the new season where I am officially on my knees in gratitude that I don't have to commute to Bethesda anymore.
And this morning, Desmond Von Deedle got to experience his first snow AND his first shower. See, he was going kinda nuts over the no-food-since-8 p.m. thing, and while I was showering, BOOM, the kitten tumbled in (along with the toilet paper I keep on the back of the toilet, and the bubble bath I keep on the side of the tub). He had this hilarious moment where he sort of paused, like, "What the hell?" and then he launched himself into the shower curtain, eventually disentangled himself, and made off for drier climes.
After all that, the final indignity was piling him into the carrier and then putting all the food back down for Oz, who was hiding. Later, Oz will come out from under the bed or whatever and be all, "YES, the food is back!" And then later, he'll wonder where the annoying kid has gone. I carried Desmond out into the snow (just starting right then, around 7 a.m.) and dropped him off at the vet to be neutered. He was very good in the car and only mewed a little bit.

No new House or Bones last night. Precious little new TV left, really. But hey, Friday night there's a Monk and a Psych Christmas special! I've got the DVR all warmed up.
