Desmond's big accomplishment this week is to learn to jump onto the vanity in the bathroom. He first jumps onto the edge of the tub, then onto the closed lid of the toilet, then onto the vanity itself. He is so fascinated when I wash my hands or brush my teeth. He appears to enjoy licking at the contact-lens solution when it gets tossed down there

Aww! Ky likes jumping in the sink too (and jumping in with me in the shower... and tub... attempts for the toilet...) but I'm always afraid that the soap or toothpaste will make her sick, so I started conning her by turning the faucet in the tub to a trickle. She sits by the side and watches it fall. Mesmerized by water? Yep, that's my kitty. =)
