Well!

Here's what that loveable nut Breszny has to say this week:

Pisces Horoscope for week of December 7, 2006

If you're a man, your penis just might grow bigger in the coming weeks. If you're a woman, your ability to experience profound and poetic emotions will deepen. No matter what gender you are, your capacity for orgasmic pleasure could increase. And this is just a fraction of the advances that are potentially in the offing for your tribe. Buoyant cosmic energies are surging within you, enhancing everything related to your joy and vitality and confidence. It's as if your animal intelligence is getting a boost from a divine form of lust; as if you're tapping into a source of high-octane energy that originates in God's libido.

No new House last night, and a Gilmore Girls that was...okay. I was sleepy as heck so that's okay. Yesterday after work, had the follow-up appointment with the orthopedist. Since the cortisone helped only a bit, we are going ahead with surgery on my right wrist, sometime in January. (His secretary has to call me to set it up.) But while we were at it, he went ahead and gave me a shot in my left wrist. It hurt a little more than last time but not too badly. My wrist is still quite tender today and I had the insomnia again. Great, just when I was exhausted! Though, it just manifested by me waking up about four times through the 7.5 hours I got to sleep (I skipped exercise this morning due to wrist tenderness and general laziness), so I still woke up pretty refreshed this morning I must say. We'll see how long that lasts!

The woman I met a few weeks ago and talked with about the strays in the parking lot finally got in touch with a woman who does feral rescue! So we have a line on someone who can help (a) get them trapped, (b) get them neutered (the ones that aren't already, of course), and (c) relocate them to a more remote place so they are safer. It might be a barn! I hope that works out - they'd be great barn cats, and while I'm sure the storm drain has been a cozy home I have to imagine a warm hay-filled barn would be better! So fingers crossed for my little outdoor friends.

Maddening: I heard on WTMD this morning something about Peter Buck and Robyn Hitchcock coming to ottobar in Baltimore. But I don't remember the date and the ottobar website's got nothin'. Neither does Robin's tour schedule on the official webpage. He's got a little band going (Robyn Hitchcock & the Venus 3), which includes Peter Buck. I wanna go! I think tomorrow morning I'll call and bug the morning DJ for more info.
