well, fuck.
i had been looking into doing an administrative internship at the virginia division of forensic science and was pretty excited at the prospect of having secured a summer internship.
of course it isnt going to happen. my luck is just too bad for these types of things (ie: everything)
i called the guy back today to talk about it further and he informed me that he had contacted the director of the facility and she said she didn't think it was going to work out to have an intern there this summer. the guy told me to call back at the end of the semester to see if anything had changed but that he reccommended i search for something else. this sucks ASS for me.
so im basically back to square one and that is BULLSHIT. this is really hard to do, and i worked my ass off just to get to the point of talking to this one guy who had given me hope but now has now told me id better look someplace else.
why is it so hard to gain an opportunity to learn around here? i mean, what the fuck? youd think that someone eager to learn could get a fucking break.
but no.
im not sure what i expected. i DO have the worst luck ever. tha should have occurred to me when i started to get my hopes up.
