I just hope this comes out because I can't imagine having to trash these diapers and start all over again. Ugh.

one hot wash w/half a cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of detergent, and a few drops of tea tree oil
one warm wash with nothing
one warm wash w/half a cup of vinegar and a few more drops of tea tree oil
I can't smell a trace of cat pee. Now, there is still a danger that the cats can smell something on there but I am hoping that between the hot washes, the baking soda/vinegar, and the tea tree oil they are pretty damned clean. And I will not be putting diapers out on the couch again!
I wish there was some medical reason for this but I'm pretty sure it was just one of our cats being a little asshole. One in particular has done things like this a few times (but never on hundreds of dollars of cloth diapers!). She may be pissed about the litter box not being clean enough but she needs to talk to Joe about that!
