Pirates 3
Saw this tonight with bunny_froufrou and captaino. I thought it was decent and entertaining, about on par with the second. Not as good as the first, but that set sort of a high bar. Or maybe the expectations were lower, either way.
As with the first two, there's a bit after the credits.
I never noticed this before, but you know how Captain Jack Sparrow has two braids in his beard? One of them has a red bead and one of them has a green bead. Nice touch :-) (I'm not a nautically or aeronautically inclined person but I believe they are on the correct sides.)
Question with a very mild spoiler:
I don't think they got the physics of the boat-rocking right. If you're trying to rock the boat over, wouldn't you run to the side that's going low? Anyway it reminded me of one of my favorite bits from the Baroque Cycle, with the flasks of liquid tuned to the wave frequency of the bay. Better living through science :-)
