Another cool APOD

Today's APOD is a photo by Thierry Legault, showing the space shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station transiting the sun shortly after the former undocked from the latter on 17 September.

This is the money shot, "extracted from a series of 14 images (3 images/s) started 2s before the predicted[1] time" (the entire transit only lasted 0.6 seconds):
