So i know i promised the happy post, but it'll have to wait till tomorrow (well, later today:P). At the moment, i'm feeling kind of forgotten (coz i was supposed to go to my mom's to help her for a couple days, since she jsut got a knee scope, but my brother forgot to pick me up and take me on his way out to Montague... and Jules not only left the province Friday without telling me, she and her friend went out tonight without even saying godbye and they walked right past my door...) and i just finished watching Closer again (which should kinda indicate the mood i was in before i started watching it, since i tend to match my movies to my mood). (on the plus side of being forgotten, tellitubladida, you can call me anytime tomorrow and we can figure out a good time to get together and watch BDS:P:) )

kinda surprisingly, i'm still a little iffy on adding Closer to my top "3". i think it's one of the most honest "love" stories there is (now you know how i feel about love;P), and the boys sure are pretty (girls too, but my main concern is boys;P), but something's not sitting well (and no, not the movie content:P it's not pretty but it's true)... i'm discovering that i really don't like Natalie Portman in "grown up" roles; there's jsut something about her delivery and expression that puts me off. I also don't think it helped that i watched it in a fully-lit room... when i watch it again (coz i'll have to see it the third time to decide if it makes the list or not;P), i'll make sure to turn off the lights and position myself better (on a bed or couch rather than a computer chair;P)....

And i watched the video for Blower's Daughter, which was a song i really loved and thought was beautiful when i'd heard it in the movie, but i finally heard the last line and i don't like it so much anymore:P It's very fitting for the film, and 'right', if you will, but i think i was holding onto that last bit of optimism, and now it's gone (coz the last line changes the whole feeling of the song)... i'll recover, but it was a bit of a blow:P but oh my, Damien Rice's voice and looks are really compelling:) if i forget abotut he lyrics, i like it even more than i did the first time i watched the movie;P
