Unfortunately I don't have the time to read right now, though I wang to, because in all honesty I like kink. I am not so sure about the mpreg, but because I know youre such a talemted writer, you can probably pull it off. I converted your fics into ereader files and loaded them on my reader. I'll be reading in the subway to work and in bed. Will comment after that, but just wanted to see it looks really promising!
Well, damn me. I do NOT like Mpreg. I think it's awful. AND I READ ALL THIS AND LOVED IT. Sean is still BeanySean, and Vigs is still Vigs. and the little lad is really just what they should bloody well have. How stupid it all is, but so marvellously written that it's right!!!! Darn you Evo, you get me smack bang in the middle of the floor. The very idea of a man having a baby ... well, ex-midwife etc... rebels, and yet I sympathised with the man the whole way through. And he was still Bean. Still the right Man tho having a baby and he didn't go all female and soppy and aarrrgghhuuuugghhh. ick. Good greef. good lord. And what a good idea to class them as Alphas and Betas and Omegas and so on. Kept them Male and Men-minded, men-shaped. Good lord. I did enjoy this.. I HATE Mpreg. but I loved it, really did. Nothing 'let's talk baby talk, and go all soppy and ' no way.. gorgeous. two blokes coping, and to have Mel come in and help like that, so nice of her. I am full of exclamations. Amazement. I bow sweet lady to your
( ... )
I. Uh. Okay I am obviously incredibly childish because I still can't help blushing and giggling in embarrassment when I think about this fic at all and I am so, so glad you like it despite not liking mpreg at all, ahhh. I was exposed to Omegaverse through trawling through Sherlock fic and especially badfic (due to splix and my other friends, so I didn't make it up) and it is fascinating, but all of the characters who become Omegas become stereotypes of femininity and it is so, so annoying. Sean and Viggo are such masculine men so f course I have to keep them masculine - I like them this way. 8D
Thank you so much I'm just. Still blushing in embarrassment dfxgfdh. ♥!
PS: This is shameless, but there's a bunch of my other VigBean stuff over here. Honestly I don't think they are as good as cartographies, because that's kind of where I fully hit my stride with this fandom, but it might be interesting to you anyway. 8D
Aaaaahh! *happy sighs* up way past my bedtime and happy I stayed up. I hadn't encountered the Omega-verse before. A bit of "Brave New World", almost. Cool!
M-preg is all good with me, as long as the guys remain in character. You handled that all really well. Sean was no less Alpha despite being pregnant, and Viggo's Alpha-ness was not overly overt. There was a lot of discussion over their respective careers, which is realistic.
And I gotta say... Sean begging Viggo for his knot was about the sexiest thing ever, probably in part because that was a new one for me. Day-am!
Julian - yes, he would be precocious if he existed; it couldn't be any other way. *grins* at the inclusion of Isaac for J's buddy. A few more years on that kid...
Whatever your motivation, thanks for writing it, and thanks for letting the resident pervs your flist read it.
Actually, Brave New World is a good way of comparison because it's very much a dystopia. People in Omegaverse, as I understand it, are much more driven by their instincts, and society pays a lot more attention to 'breeding'. Pretty much as much as quiverfull movements, but without the religious overtones, which might make it worse. It is mostly in Sherlock, X-Men: First Class, and Supernatural fandoms, and here is its tag on AO3. I clearly think too much about these things.
ISAAC IS THE CUTEST THING EVER. His lips should be illegal. I want to steal him away dsfsdfg he is so, so cute. And I'm really, really happy that you found this hot because you're like this bastion of sexy so. So yeah.
It's okay, you don't have to strike it out. I think I'm a resident perv too. Thank you ♥
You are such a skilled writer. I usually hate male pregnancy and avoid it, unless it is written by helena_s_renn, but now I can add you that short list. :D
Both the boys remained in character and retained their Alpha characteristics and you managed to pull it off brilliantly. The mention of the knot sent me researching on the net and I learned something new. Who says that slash is not educational? *g*
Great that Sean finally got a son. I would love to see the child that their mating would produce. Julian would indeed be a remarkable child.
Slash is extremely educational. Extremely. I say this from personal experience. /cough.
Eeee, I'm just really glad you like this despite hating mpreg. What I hate about mpreg most of the time is that the men turn into the worst kind of women, and that's an insult to women as well as completely defeating the point because isn't the point getting the men pregnant and keeping them IC... sdgsdgf So yes, I'm glad. ♥
