Speaking of Halloween

It seems that the trick-or-treating in Tallahassee has moved in an odd direction lately and I'm wondering if this is comon elsewhere. Apparently, a lot of parents drive across town so their kids can trick-or-treat in certain "nice" neighborhoods. A lot of people go to "better" neighborhoods for trick or treating here, but that's because the alternative is the "bad neighborhoods". And the only people who go to these neighborhoods are the ones that either don't have a place to trick or treat where they are at, or they are trick or treating with their friends who live in that better neighborhood ( ... )

Yeah, sometimes we went to the mall when I was a kid, but they had crappy candy.

There IS a drug dealer down the street, love. Don't think it's crack, but there's a reason the po-po are generally on the downhill end of our street every so often, lol.

Well, maybe I won't try so hard to avoid hitting people standing in the street down there! :D Kidding, of course. In any case, I can still maintain that there are no known crackhouses on the street. ;)
