January Cure, Day Four: Get A Fresh Perspective

Today's assignment, should I choose to accept it, involves sitting in a little-used part of my place and using the perspective from that spot to highlight places where my suite could use improvement. Admittedly, the answer for my place is "All of it." The only time I'd make it to HGTV is on one of those home improvement shows featuring interior decorating's / organizing's answer to Gordon Ramsey.
I sat in a corner of my living room (ironically, the place I used to use as a work area), and pondered all the boxes in the room. I suppose one of my goals would be to get things out of the boxes and (1) in the garbage (2) in nicer looking boxes (3) in the suite.
Tara Bellucci talked about looking at her living room from the gossip bench at the entrance to the room, and all I could think was...hey, I want a gossip bench. I think they used to be used as telephone tables, back in the day when people had dial telephones and used phone books. They used to be on sale in the vintage furniture stores here, until the furniture stores realized that it was more lucrative to sell to people in the film industry here.
