In US History, we were discussing the capture of Saddam. Mr. Arrigo was asking us what we thought and how it might affect politics. I think I expressed my views rather well. Mr. Arrigo said "good point." (Mr. Arrigo is awesome.) It was going well until a kid began sympathising with the Iraqis, and about how much a human life was worth- I argued that the motives behind the war had nothing to do with that; otherwise we wouldn't be neutral with other horrible dictators (at which point someone cried, "One at a time!"), and I said that the the value of life is more philosophy than politics. But I felt insecure and I could tell he thought he was in the right. (And aren't we all?)

Anthony, the class Democrat, though rather predictable is well-informed and amusing in his arguments. I'd like to be his friend.

I was listening to this on my way home called Here Are The Sonics!!! and it was so good. I thoroughly enjoyed the rhythm and blues. I also listened to Outkast's The Love Below. Verrrry experimental, but also very relaxing. Jazz, techno, pop, hip hop, and so many other sounds are used.

Did you ever have a dream where you wanted to wake up, and you forced yourself to wake up? And it kind of hurt your brain, but eventually you ended the dream and awoke? I was thinking about that..
