I'm still making a determined effort to update on occasion
Updating my Livejournal is just as useful as working on my legal writing assignment, right? Of course it is.
So my life is pretty boring, but that's just the way it goes, I guess. This weekend was Barrister's Ball, which is basically law school prom. I put pictures up on my facebook account, so if you're not my friend on facebook, like, why not? Exactly. There's no good reason. Anyway, it was more fun than regular high school prom, so that's a plus.
Other than that, my life appears to be an endless cycle of class, homework, exercise, and eating Taco Bell. I guess it could be worse. It could also be better, though. Oh well.
I still have no job offers for summer, which makes me sad. I've applied to any number of law firms and government offices, and done four interviews, two of which have rejected me and two of which I have not yet heard from. I guess I need to get better at interviewing. There's still a few positions I'm applying to this week that seem interesting, but who knows what the hell I'll end up doing this summer (hint: unemployment :( ). Jobs are overrated anyway, I'm thinking. Who needs "valuable legal experience" anyway?
