(no subject)
i'm beginning to find riding my bike very enjoyable. the challange and speed. the rush of adrenaline and power.
and now that it's excruciatingly hot during the day, my rides have taken on a whole new level:
night time
strapping on my mp3 player packed with heart pumping electronic rhythms. racing through the dark under the street lights and down twisting harrowing paths, branches and cobwebs whipping at my sweat drenched face. always mildly fearful of some hazerdous sharp object or pothole in my path that somehow i had missed on ealier runs.
but hey, in the event of a handle bar flipping crash, i always have my cell phone on me. right in my back pack. right next to a 30 lb bag of water for extra weight...
