Thanks to floridacarol, I've gotten serious about losing weight. I've joined My Fitness Pal, which is an online way to track your daily food intake plus exercise. It really helps keeps me motivated, remembering that I have to input everything I eat into this journal. Makes you think twice -- do I really need that cookie ( Read more... )

Yeah!!! I am so happy for you!

And I am glad to have another weight loss buddy! I need to stay focused and amp up my workouts for the next month (up until my foot surgery), because during my recovery I won't be able to workout. My doctor gave me a high five when I saw her a couple weeks ago. She also told me of a patient that lost like 60 pounds who only counted calories and she did not exercise, so that gives me hope.

I only signed up for 3 workouts a week but I'm trying to do one every day if possible.

But god I'm sore today. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing at the kitchen floor for a good 45 min yesterday and now my shoulders and back are just killing me. Ugh!

And yes, Kaylee is a big fan of me riding the bike. :-)

me too- I told it I would only workout 3 days but I am trying to do it at least 4.

In a couple of weeks we are getting a treadmill because he wants to walk/run the Peachtree Race this year- i think it is a half marathon.

(log that 45 min of cleaning. You can Google how many calories burned and see what it gets you.)
