The web cam, being of its’ own mind, clicks on to show an EMako unlike any EMako seen before. She is in a sexy little velvet number, so deep a green, it’s almost black. Her usual topknot is abandoned. In its place is an intricate twist. She is rummaging through a small handbag.
EMako: C’mon, love! We’re going to be late!
Aoshi comes out in tux, sans jacket, his bowtie not tied. He is struggling with his cuffs. He has a bandage around his head.
Aoshi: Don’t worry; we’ve got plenty of time.
He tries to kiss her, but she ducks away, still searching for something. Aoshi looks mournfully after her as he finishes his cuffs and starts on his tie.
EMako: I give up!
She looks back at Aoshi, sighs, and fixes the mess he’s made of his tie.
Aoshi: So, have you forgiven me yet?
EMako: Hmmm. . .
Aoshi: Onegai? It’s been 5 days.
He makes a sad face at her. EMako sighs and shakes her head.
EMako: Fine. All forgiven.
She finishes his tie and tosses him his coat.
EMako: *mutter grumble* stupid required function. Can’t we skip this?
Aoshi: 25% of our grad index.
EMako: Bastards.
Aoshi: Loveable, aren’t they. Speaking of loveable, your loveable friends have mentioned something interesting about last Wednesday. Care to explain?
She looks sheepish
EMako: Nope. Honestly, I don’t remember much. I remember arguing with you about Chiruu, but that’s about it.
Aoshi: ER said you stumbled into this Jim’s flat, completely smashed, and said that you’d left the iron on before passing out.
EMako: I didn’t say I’d left the iron on. I was trying to tell them that I threw the iron at you. I must have been smashed.
Aoshi: So what did happen?
EMako: Well, after I stormed out of your flat, I went to Nerima to talk to Kodachi. Poor girl has so many problems that talking to her always makes me feel better. So we started drinking, fought the nut balls in the neighborhood, and . . .
Aoshi: And?
EMako: And the next thing I remember is visiting with Mina-chan’s senile grandmother.
Aoshi: *Snerk*
She slaps him, then takes her wrap from the hall closet.
EMako: C’mon, we need to get going.
Aoshi opens the door for her, and they leave.
The web cam, being bored now, turns off.
