I will never forget.
I can't believe it has already been 7 years. Time flies so fast, yet in the moment it seems as it isn't moving at all. I look back on the last 7 years and can't think of any specific thing that stands out more than this day. I miss all my soldiers who are in the desert and who are elsewhere in the country. Thank you for doing the job that I wasn't allowed to do with you. You are all in my heart and prayers.
