his eyes have changed

I drove by Michelle's house on my way somewhere to see if Kirk was outside so I could talk to him, and he was out there. It was just one of those things where I had a hunch I should drive by. Good thing I have been listening to my gut lately. I didn't get to talk to him for long, but he didn't want to talk and that was apparent. He looked different though. It wasn't him behind his eyes.  He has changed. That wasn't the guy I fell in love with. that's not the guy who was so excited to have a family, that is not the guy who brought Kassaundra home from the hospital with me, that isn't the guy i left home to work while i went and visited family. that isn't my Kirk. :'(

i gave him the letter i wrote for him a couple nights ago, the letter i wrote him in december, her baby blessing certificate, and a list of things i am missing. he started to look at it as he went inside. i wonder if he read it or threw it out.
