"Hm..." Kibum tapped his pencil against the desk as his science teacher squinted at the clock, trying to read the time. "Okay, I'll give you a ten minute break, but then I want you guys to come back here and be ready to take some notes," he announced as the kids quickly scrambled to leave the class room. Kibum sighed and laid his head down on the desk as he listened to his classmates scurry outside.

"Hey." He looked up, surprised to see Eunhyuk standing in front of him. The elder had his arms crossed and looked uncomfortable about something.

"Hi..." Kibum replied unsurely. He was still afraid of the elder's sudden agressive behavior and didn't plan to provoke Eunhyuk any time soon.

"I need to talk to you," Eunhyuk stated firmly.

"O-okay," Kibum agreed. He stayed seated in his chair as Eunhyuk moved away from him.

"Are you coming?" The elder asked impatiently when he saw that Kibum hadn't moved yet.

"You want to talk now?" Kibum asked.

"Yes, now!" Eunhyuk sighed in frustration. "Hurry up!" Kibum quickly stood up and walked over to Eunhyuk. The other grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the classroom, down the science hallway.

"What is it?" Kibum asked as Eunhyuk found a private area.

Making sure no one else was around, Eunhyuk frowned as he stared at Kibum. "I'm sorry," he apologized.

"Huh?" Kibum replied intelligently.

"I've just been really upset and I didn't mean to take it out on you," Eunhyuk told him. "And I'm really sorry that I did."

"I-it's o-okay," Kibum stammered. He wasn't sure how to respond to Eunhyuk's sudden mood change.

"I just...I really like Donghae," Eunhyuk confessed. "It really hurt when he broke up with me and he did that because..." he cleared his throat and stared at Kibum. The younger's lips were pressed together in a frown as he looked questioningly at him. "Jessica didn't want to tell me, but I found out," he said. "Donghae broke up with me because he likes you." Kibum's jaw dropped as Eunhyuk said that.

"What?" he asked.

"He likes you," Eunhyuk repeated.

"But he asked you out," Kibum squeaked.

"I know," he sighed. "No matter how much I hate him for doing that, I really can't. I'm not sure I can say it's his fault."

"Why?" Kibum asked.

Eunhyuk shook his head and slumped against the wall. "I don't think he ever really liked me," he admitted. "I know he asked me out because one  of my friends told him to. And he only started liking you a little while ago."

"I'm...I'm sorry," Kibum said quietly.

"Don't be," Eunhyuk reassured him quickly. "You don't need to be sorry for anything. None of this was your fault, at all, and I'm sorry that I blamed you for it." Kibum bit his lip and shifted uncomfortably. "Don't blame this on yourself, it's really not your fault." Kibum nodded his head, not able to say anything. "Come here," Eunhyuk coaxed, opening his arms. Kibum stepped closer to the other and wrapped his arms around Eunhyuk in a hug. "I'm sorry for the way I treated you, okay?"

"Okay," Kibum mumbled. "I'm not mad at you or anything."

"Thanks." Eunhyuk let the younger go and smiled at him.

"Hi, Kibum!" Said boy turned his head and waved at Changmin who passed them.

"I love that kid," Kibum said and shook his head. Eunhyuk gasped as he gave Kibum a brilliant smile. "What?" Kibum tilted his head at Eunhyuk's reaction.

"You should ask him out," he suggested and jumped excitedly.

"Uh...I don't like him that much," Kibum replied. "Anyways, breaks almost over," he changed the subject and moved back towards their classroom. Eunhyuk frowned and shook his head at Kibum's stubborness before following after the younger boy.

"What happened to Sungmin and Eunhyuk?" Tiffany interrupted Yuri as she was lecturing about how dirty their work was.

"They went to the bathroom," Yuri replied. "And don't interrupt me."

"But it's been, like, fifteen minutes," Tiffany complained. "They're ditching class because they don't want to work."

"I doubt that," Kibum scoffed quietly. The door opened as Sungmin and Eunhyuk stumbled into the room, giggling like mad. Hankyung tilted his head in confusion at their behavior while Siwon simply lifted an eyebrow and shook his head. Tiffany sneered at the two who finally decided to show up and Kibum stared at them with a fearful expression on his face.

"What's up with you two?" Yuri asked them.

"N-nothing!" Sungmin squeaked through his giggling.

"It's not important," Eunhyuk reassured with a smile. Yuri narrowed her eyes in suspicion at the two of them.

"I don't believe you. What's going on?" she demanded.

"It's nothing woman!" Sungmin laughed at his friend. He glanced over to Kibum who shrank away in fear. "They'd be so cute!" he squealed.

"Now you made me curious!" Sohee whined as she dropped her flag and bounded over to Sungmin. "What is it?! Why are you and Eunhyuk laughing your butts off?"

"I can't tell you," Sungmin said, smiling apologetically.

"Why not?" Yuri asked.

"Because someone in this room can't know!" Eunhyuk exclaimed as another fit of giggles washed over him. Everyone exchanged glances with each other before turning their attention back to Eunhyuk and Sungmin.

Kibum frowned and placed his hands on his hips, staring at the door to the studio unhappily. Somehow he went from being inside, practicing his flag work, to being thrown out as the rest of the guard conversed about something. "I don't appreciate being talked about behind my back!" he yelled at them.

"Just shut your mouth!" Sungmin barked back at him through the doors. Sighing, Kibum crossed his hands over his chest and waited impatiently for everyone to finish. "Okay! You can come back now!" Satisfied, Kibum walked back into the room and froze when everyone stared at them with a smile on their face. Even Tiffany.

"Uhhh...." Yuri smirked at him. "What were you guys talking about?" he asked.

"Don't worry. You'll see," Sungmin said smugly. Kibum frowned as he looked at each person standing in the studio. His eyes landed on Siwon who looked lost and contemplative and he smiled.

"Fine," he relented. As Yuri went back to talking to the guard, Kibum snuck over to Siwon and tapped the taller boy on the shoulder.

"Huh?" Siwon asked and turned to him.

"What were you talking about?" Kibum demanded.

"I don't know," he said honestly.

"Well what did you hear?" Kibum pressed.

"That--"

"Oh, my God!" Sungmin screeched. "Are you telling him?!"

"What?" Siwon asked. "That Changmin was going to ask him to homecoming--oops." Both Sungmin and Eunhyuk gaped at Siwon who bit his lip at everybody's murderous glares. "My bad," he coughed.

"I cannot believe you!" Eunhyuk shrieked. "It was suppose to be a surprise! You ruined it!"

"Well, I'm sorry!" Siwon cried in his defense. "I didn't mean to! I'm bad at keeping secrets!"

"Ugh!" Sungmin growled in frustration.

"Hey, you suck at keeping secrets too," Siwon pointed out in his defense. Sungmin sneered at him and looked the other way.

"What?" Kibum asked, still processing what Siwon had blurted to him.

"Are you going to say yes?" Hankyung asked excitedly. He was flailing his limbs and he looked at Kibum anxiously.

"Say yes to what?" Kibum asked meekly.

"He's going to ask you soon," Eunhyuk told him. "Are you going to say yes when he asks you? Are you? Are you, are you, are you?!"

"I--I, uh, yes? I don't know!" Kibum cried. He felt like he was being attacked on all sides by everyone. He barely even knew what was going on himself.

"You guys would be soooo cute!" Sungmin squealed. "But not as cute as me and Kyu," he added as an afterthought.

"Are you okay?" Sohee asked as she tugged on Kibum's sleeve.

"I'm...fine?" he replied and shook his head. Sohee gave him a doubtful look and Kibum sighed. "Nobody has ever liked me before," he admitted. "And then--" he stopped himself and glanced over to Eunhyuk. "Nothing. It's just weird."

"Well you better get use to it," Sohee warned him. "You're freakin hot."

"Thanks?" Kibum said sarcastically. He felt slightly disturbed that the freshmen and his best friend in guard had just talked to him like that.

"Just telling the truth," Sohee defended and held up her hands. Kibum shook his head at her.

"Okay!" Yuri cried. "Now that we've all been thoroughly distracted," she shot Sungmin a glare, "lets actually practice now." Everybody groaned as the went to pick up their previously discarded flags. Kibum spent the rest of class completely distracted as he thought about what Siwon had said. Was it even true? Or was it just a mean prank that Sungmin and Eunhyuk had come up with? He shook the thoughts from his head, concentrating on his work now. He guessed that he would find out sooner or later anyways.
