Is it weird that I would absolutely LOVE to do jury duty, in a completely unironic and non-cynical way? I've only been summoned once, and I couldn't go because I was at college a thousand miles away at the time. Your reasons for being excited are pretty good, though, if depressing.

I'm assuming that mentioning all those costumes here means that you'll be posting pictures of them when you eventually finish and wear them? That was a rhetorical question mark, as this is not actually up for debate. I look forward to seeing them. Even the Stig. ESPECIALLY the Stig.

I'm... actually looking forward to it for reasons other than my cynical work reasons. The court I have to report to mostly gets Cook County criminal cases, so if I get seated, it ought to be interesting. (And my biggest issue with ever being seated on a criminal jury in Ohio is a non-issue here since we no longer have the death penalty.) I could see myself being the annoying lone juror who refuses to convict, though. I've gotten kind of stubborn after working with attorneys for so long. (-;

Of course there will be pictures! At least for the ones that actually happen. ^_^ Right now I'm mostly looking forward to Grimdark Rose, but I'm going to have to cut the wig for that one, which might be an utter disaster. (Don't encourage me about The Stig, because I really want to do that, but cannot justify the purchase of racing leathers. And if I'm going to be The Stig, I certainly have to do it right

When you say Vriska, you mean this Vriska, right? Right? That's the Vriska you meant? Actually, let's all be that Vriska. All of us, like, everyone. Maybe we can lobby to institute an International Gangster Vriska Dress-Up Day. Or I can lobby, if nobody else wants to do it. I'm gonna go do that now. BRB

Up until this point, I was unaware of that particular Vriska. But... yes. Yes, that would be superior. I will take any excuse to dress as a gangster. But now I'm going to have to steal myself a saxophone. (I'll admit I'm very partial to the hat, as it 1) fixes the wig issues and 2) I can wear it for other occasions... with or without the horns.) ^_^
