11:47 PM 7/6/07 · Just got home from seeing Transformers and rewound what I taped for the night; grabbed most of what the new season of SciFriday has to offer. In the 7pm to 8pm slot is Kindred: the Embraced, a series I loved that LARPing fans were not so fond of. Caught the first episode by chance, was expecting Level 9 still to be going, so I'll enjoy going through it again...
...even though I have the whole series on tape. Got the box set a few years ago but I never bothered to open it. "Someday" was always the plan.
Friday kicked off the new season of Doctor Who rather nicely. Unfortunately I hadn't bothered to look up the schedule for the night. It was showing an hour and a half opener and then a sepearate episode. Normally I schedule the VCR to take the whole Friday lineup on SciFi except for Painkiller Jane, which comes on at 10pm, and then flips over to CBS to tape NUMB3RS. So, I got ½ of that first episode of my favorite Time Lord and all of NUMB3RS, which sadly was a repeat.
Fortunately Doctor Who repeats at 1am so I can catch that episode then.
